Kohaku Koi

Kohaku Koi are white-skinned koi, with red markings on the top (Kohaku literally means "red and white" in Japanese). Champion Kohaku Koi have no red on the fins, below the eyes or around the mouth area. The markings on the body should have an artistic flow to them.

Koi Fact: Kohaku was the first ornamental variety to be established in Japan (late 19th century)
